Our weekly Sunday services include live worship with singing, a message from the Bible, groups for KingsGate Kids & Youth, and an opportunity to connect and enjoy community as a church family. 

Kids & Youth

We run KingsGate Kids & Youth every week during our Sunday services. KingsGate Kids Sunday groups are currently available for children ages 2 – school year 6 in Peterborough and ages 4 – school year 6 in Cambridge.

KingsGate Youth runs for young people in school years 7–13.

Pre-booking is required for KingsGate Kids only.

If your child is not booked in for a KingsGate Kids session or chooses to stay with you, the session can be accessed online in the Auditorium – please bring a device and headphones for your child(ren) so they can make the most of these activities (WiFi is provided).

WHAT to expect at kingsgate on sundays

What is a KingsGate service like?

Our Sunday services last for about an hour and a quarter. We start with worship, which involves singing modern, uplifting songs led by talented singers and musicians. The lyrics are displayed on screen, so you can sing along if you’d like. After this, there’s a warm welcome followed by an inspirational talk based on the Bible, with practical insights for daily life. We then take a few moments for prayer before serving free refreshments after the service. You’re welcome to observe or to join in as much as you would like to.

What do I wear?

There’s no formal dress code at KingsGate, most people dress casually. We’re a multicultural church, so you’ll see a variety of traditional and casual attire. Feel free to wear whatever clothing you are most comfortable in.

Is there car parking?

Yes, we offer free parking at all KingsGate campuses. Our friendly Car Parking Team will greet you and guide you to a spot. If it’s your first visit, just let them know and they’ll help you get oriented.

Are services fully accessible?

Absolutely. We strive to accommodate all accessibility needs. If you have a Blue Badge, please inform our team when you arrive so we can provide you with accessible parking.

Where do I go when I arrive?

As you enter, our Welcome Team will be the first to greet you. They’re stationed near the main doors and are there to ensure you have a great experience. They can provide information about the church and answer any questions you might have.

What happens after the service?

After the service, as well as refreshments being served for everyone, our Welcome Team would love to see you in the Welcome Lounge. They’d love to hear your thoughts on the service and answer any questions you may have. They can also tell you about other activities and ways to get involved at KingsGate.

Will I be able to receive prayer?

Yes, we offer prayer ministry after our services. We believe in a God of miracles and you can request prayer for any area of your life where you need healing, transformation, hope, guidance, or help.
